Back from school

After about a month + at school, my big boy shown a lot of improvement…minor and major …

  • He did’nt cry any more when i send him at school  every morning.
  • He will recite do’a each time before & after eating and etc….1 of his favorite do’a sounds like this

” Oh Allah, make open my heart, make easy my work, so that i can understand.. amin “

  • He learns a lot of english vocab. everyday he’ll try to speak “engrish”…sometimes it sounds so weird and funny, but we’ll just correct him. tp rasa mcm nak meletup perut pun ada, worst when he’s talking to his bbik in engrish + malay + indon…hahaha
  • He don’t cry a lot at home anymore. he’s so happy to meet his friends every morning. dulu2 masa baru2 sekolah, bila we all tanya sapa nama kwn abg? he’ll tell : Humairah, Wardah, Sara, Leen …. aik semua girls. but now dah ada nama boys : akil, nazem, haziq …at least la kan…kalau tak romeo sungguh anakku ini..
  • He don’t fight with his adik so much nowadays. but they enjoy playing together…but sometimes, myself pun geram dgn adik dia tu … blablabla…ntah la..

So, we’re so happy with rayyan enjoy and learn a lot at school. We plan to send Idlan to the same kindies next year. Just that we need to sort their transportation issues by end of this year. We’re also thinking of sending Rayyan to school at 6 years old (std 1) if he can read, count and write by the age of 5. tengok la mcmmana, still too early to tell

Long Holiday

We’d been spent our holiday @ Teluk Batik with my inlaws… It was a last minute arrangement as PPP customer have postponed their bookings due to the long holiday. At least we managed to secure a hotel during that super peak period…

Hoya Hoyer = Dora The Explorer

Soberi Shotcape = Strawberry Shortcake

Akimosh = Mikkie Mouse

Babi (tolong jangan salahkan anakku) = Barbie

Yesterday, i brought idlan and rayyan to KFC, PKNS depan rumah ni. After 30minutes “menggegarkan” KFC, we headed to the stage at the centercourt. They played on the stage. Kat depan ada booth selling school bags. Without fear, my idlan shouted ” Ami, tu babi abang beg …. adik, akimosh “…..perghhhhh…Luckily i manage to control the damage while everybody was staring at us…. 🙂

1st day at school

I’ve prepared him few days back that he’ll be going to school soon. There he can meet lots of friends to play, teacher will teach them art (he loves creative works right now)…he seems so excited to wait for monday to come..

He woke up early last monday, had some breakfast and wore his best white shirt and pants. At 8.40 am. i drove the car with him, idlan and my maid. hubby can’t join us, bz with his work commitment..Arrive at the school, greeted by Teacher Zaleha(principle)..Rayyan held her hands and walk with him into the house. Then he turns to salam + kiss me goodbye.

We stayed in within the  school compound to watch his behaviour. Suprisingly, he won’t cry at all…..huhu…I’ve actually prepared for the best drama scene…hehe. Slowly, we sneak out and went back to the car. Idlan cried out loud, because we left his brother there…:) Deep inside my heart, i’m the one who’d cried because i’ll miss him while he’s at school. Bravo rayyan, u’re mummy’s boy

My son can decide…

After quite a month of discussing and thinking about which one is the best kindies for Rayyan, last few weeks i’ve bought rayyan to visit 4 kindies. We start our visiting day around 9.30 am.

First we went to  Children Islamic Center (CIC) in Sek 9 – New branch (previously in Sec 3) so still clean & all in order, ample space for playing and learning becoz it’s in a Semi-D House, Teacher speaks in BM though they’re English Medium Kindies ??,Safety and Cleanliness is up to the standard, sylibus : Phonics , Islamic Education and others…

It’s 11.25 when we reach Afthal Islamic Montessori at Sek. 7. Rayyan was shocked when suddently a group of 10 kids age 5-6 ran out to the van waited for them in-front of the kindies.. The school is quite big as it occupies 1 corner unit and 1 double storey unit next to it. It has small gated swimming pool. I havent got the chance to talk so much with the teacher there bcoz she’s too busy handling the kids. She handed me the brochure and fee structure and then we walk of to the next kindies.

Our Next location was  Little Caliphs in Sec 7. This school has 3 branches in Bangi and quite a number of branches in Shah Alam. I’ve heard about this kindies good profile before. We met Pn. Zaleha the principal and the owner of the branch in Sec. 7. She’s so soft spoken and polite. She explained to me regarding the sylibus they’re using which includes phonic, iqra’ and others. She recommeded for a week of trial class for them to evaluate him on his readiness to go to school, ability to learn and socialize with other kids there.

Then we went back home. In the car i asked rayyan which school he prefer? he answered me ” the no.3 because the teacher speak english and they are very kind” ….. hehehe…i’m happy now that he’s made the decision and it’s inline with what i’m looking for …:)
